This Privacy Policy explains how ImageProBox.com handles your images, browser storage, analytics data, and contact form submissions when you use our website and image tools.

How Image Processing Works on ImageProBox

8 of our 9 image tools process your files locally inside your web browser. Our Image Enhancer tool offers both local browser filters and an optional 2x server-side upscaling mode via Sharp Lanczos3. No persistent image storage was identified in our current platform implementation.

1. Image Processing Architecture by Tool

ImageProBox provides two distinct types of image processing depending on which tool and mode you select:

A. Browser-Only Image Tools (Local Processing)

When you use any of the following 8 tools, your images are processed locally inside your browser using HTML5 Canvas, Web Workers, or WebAssembly. Your image files are not uploaded to ImageProBox servers for image processing:

  • WebP Converter
  • Image Compressor
  • Image Resizer
  • Format Converter
  • AI Background Remover (runs in-browser via WebAssembly; model weights are downloaded from the IMG.LY CDN on initialization)
  • Image Watermarker
  • Advanced Image Cropper
  • Image Color Picker

B. Image Enhancer (Hybrid Tool with 2 Modes)

The Image Enhancer tool allows you to choose between two processing modes:

  • Manual Filters: Processed locally in your web browser using HTML5 Canvas. Your image is not uploaded to our server.
  • High-Precision Upscaler: Your image is uploaded to the ImageProBox backend endpoint (/api/enhance) and processed in volatile server memory (RAM) using the Sharp Lanczos3 image processing library. No persistent image storage on disk or in a database was identified in the current implementation.

2. Analytics & Third-Party Services

ImageProBox uses the following third-party services to operate the website, measure traffic, deliver fonts and models, and display advertisements:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Collects website traffic and usage telemetry (such as page views, browser type, and general device/region data) to help us understand how visitors use the site.
  • Vercel Analytics: Collects aggregated web traffic and page view metrics for hosting and performance analysis.
  • Google AdSense: Uses cookies and web beacons to serve advertisements based on your visit to ImageProBox and other websites on the Internet.
  • Google Fonts: Loads web font stylesheets and font files (such as Inter, Noto Sans JP, and Tajawal) from Google servers (`fonts.googleapis.com` and `fonts.gstatic.com`).
  • IMG.LY Static Model CDN (`staticimgly.com`): When you use the AI Background Remover tool, your browser downloads ONNX machine learning model weights and WebAssembly binaries from the IMG.LY CDN so the model can run locally in your browser. Your image itself is not sent to IMG.LY.

3. Cookies & Browser Local Storage

ImageProBox uses browser storage and third-party cookies for the following purposes:

  • Local Storage (`imageprobox_cookie_consent`): We store the key `imageprobox_cookie_consent` in your browser's `localStorage` to remember when you dismiss or accept the cookie notice banner.
  • Analytics & Advertising Cookies: Third-party scripts loaded on our site—including Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense—may set or read cookies in your browser to measure site traffic and serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
  • Opt-Out Options: You can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings (https://www.google.com/settings/ads) or https://www.aboutads.info/choices/, or by configuring your browser settings to block cookies.

4. Contact Form Submissions

When you submit a message through our Contact page, your browser sends the following fields to our backend endpoint (`/api/contact`):

  • Your email address (`email`)
  • Your message subject (`subject`)
  • Your message content (`message`)

5. How Contact Information Is Used

Our backend forwards your contact form submission via our email delivery system (SMTP) to our support inbox (`imageprobox@gmail.com`) so our team can read and reply to your inquiry. We do not sell your contact email address to third parties.
